How you can help

Check out the Editor's toolbox to learn how you can contribute to the Imaging Wiki.

Here's what you can do

As more and more contents of the Imaging Wiki are revisited to meet the new accessibility and navigation benchmarks, you have the chance to extend the knowledge base of the Wiki with your contributions. There are several ways to land a hand, here you can find a list of pages that need care.

Write content

Please make sure you have read the IWG Content policy, an Editor will verify that the contents align with the policy before publishing your contribution.

• Even illumination, sections:

• Studio setup
• Field setup
• General recommendations (subsection Exposure)

Add references

Here are some pages that would benefit of additional references (citations as well as general bibliography).

• Raking light
• Specular illumination

Add media

Photos, GIF animations, illustrations... Anything works as long as it's representative of the information in that section. Don't forget to share the Alt-text, due credits, and licensing.

New pages wishlist

All you need are an introductory paragraph and a bibliographic reference. A photo or an illustration would be much appreciated too.

• Collection digitisation

Share your workflows

Do you, or your institution, have a workflow you can share to the world? Send the PDF to AIC.ImagingWG@gmail.com and an Editor will publish it with the other community workflows.
