Kari Rayner is an Associate Conservator of Paintings at the J. Paul Getty Museum. She holds an MA in Art History and Advanced Certificate in paintings conservation from the Conservation Center, Institute of Fine Arts, New York University. Previously, she served as a Sherman Fairchild Fellow in Paintings Conservation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Paintings Conservation at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. She additionally completed a Post-Graduate Internship at the Hamilton Kerr Institute, University of Cambridge and worked at various organizations during her pre-program and graduate studies, including the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum in Cologne, Germany and Modern Art Conservation in New York, NY.
