Help talk:Wiki Editors' Resources

Purpose of this Page[edit source]

There is a lot of overlap between the Wiki Editors Resources and the AIC CC User Guidelines. Rather than merging them, I would suggest clarifying purpose. The former could have nuts and bolts for *editors*: formatting, style, appearance, templates. The later would be more general for *users*: background, software, community of users, levels of access and updates, etc.--Kkelly (talk) 11:20, 22 September 2014 (CDT)

Agreed on this point -- a simple, single point of access for help would be best in my opinion. For now, let's continue to add BPG resources here... I too found the AIC-CC User Guidelines more general, and thus less applicable for serious coding help. --Ev-knight (talk) 08:51, 25 September 2014 (CDT)

Example of How Talk Pages Work[edit source]

This Wikimedia page is a great resource for understanding how talk pages work--Kkelly (talk) 09:48, 22 September 2014 (CDT)

Wait, I'm confused. Is a Talk page the same as a Discussion tab?--Kkelly (talk) 09:49, 22 September 2014 (CDT)
Yes, they are the same.--Kkelly (talk) 09:50, 22 September 2014 (CDT)

How did you get the date and time to be there?

It was easy - just use the signature button signature button in the toolbar above the editing textbox. Remember, always sign your name after your comments.--Kkelly (talk) 10:03, 22 September 2014 (CDT)
