ME[edit | edit source]
Preservation Specialist at the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (like a roving preservation librarian for all the libraries in the Commonwealth, along with grant administration for IMLS/LSTA funds). Formerly Associate Conservator and Project Conservator at the Boston Athenæum, with many previous stops along the way, one of which was the 2010 Harper-Inglis Book Conservation Fellowship at the Library of Congress. That's where Lynn Kidder, Senior Book Conservator (now retired) gave me an opportunity to get involved with the Wiki, first as technical support and troubleshooter for formatting problems after the import of data into the online environment. Then I became a member of the 'Wiki Working Group', appointed by the BPG Publications Committee, and finally had a leadership role as the BPG Wiki Co-coordinator, 2014 to 2016. I'm not so involved anymore but still believe in the utility of documenting good/better/best tips and practices among conservators!
