The Conservators in Private Practice (CIPP) Specialty Group was formed in 1986. The proposed bylaws were published in the AIC Newsletter Number 1 Vol.11 (January 1986) and the group was established on May 21,1986, at the 14th Annual AIC meeting in Chicago (see AIC Newsletter Number 4 Vol.11, July 1986, p.10).
