Work Experience

Justine Wuebold is Research Associate in Embedding Sustainability in Conservation Education Initiative at the UCLA/Getty Program in the Conservation of Archeological and Ethnographic Materials. She has worked in museums and cultural heritage for eight years, with specialized knowledge in collections care and conservation. She worked four years as a conservation technician and currently consults for museums, historical societies, and private collectors in database management and storage assessment. Justine is co-director of waste and materials at Ki Culture in their Waste and Materials division, serves as Recording Secretary on the board of the Bay Area Art Conservation Guild, and is the Image Gallery of Damages Coordinator for the Resources and Dissemination sub-committee of AIC's Materials Working Group.

Internships

Justine completed internships at ACdR Conservation LLC, Huntington Library and Gardens, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Magnes Collection of Jewish Art and Life.


Education

Justine holds a Dual Masters in Museum Studies and Business Administration from John F. Kennedy University where she penned her thesis on Sustainable Materials in Collections Care, and earned a Bachelors in Art History from San Francisco State University.
