Future Plans for This Page[edit source]
This page was created from the section named Over-Sized/Three-Dimensional/Unusual Shapes, which encompassed various types of objects that did not fit into other categories, it would probably be best to create additional pages. Copied the table of content from this current page and seeing what to do with each section. I would then delete this current page:
- Move back to BPG Support Problems (write 1-2 sentence to introduce the new pages, then paste these underneath, maybe put them together under a new header?)
- Over-sized papers
- Embossed papers
- Each section would get a new individual page created under "Specialized Formats"
- Fans
- Wallpaper
- Globes
- Boxes
- Move into BPG Composite Structures
- Screens (there is almost no content in there currently, should eventually become its own page under "Specialized formats")
- Papier-mâché
- Cast or molded paper
- Varnished Wall Maps (move its bibliography under a new header, there is no written content currently, could eventually become a new page)
- Other objects made by distortion of planar sheet

Frances thoughts:
- I kind of don't like the phrase 'composite structures', because like where is the line...prints and paper+ink, there are oil paintings on paper, etc.... Cast/molded paper feels like a stretch for a composite object. Here is my proposition for an alternative grouping:
- 3-Dimensional Formats
- Fans
- Globes
- Screens
- Cast or molded paper
- Papier-mâché
- Boxes
- Other objects made by distortion of planar sheet (this is too long of a title lol)
- Specialized Formats-- (taken from within the composite structure page)
- Varnished papers (mostly focused on wall maps, but sometimes other things get varnished too, like rando artworks)
- Wallpaper
- Cloth-lined paper (this feels more easily understood than papier marouflage, esp since linen-backing of paper still happens today)
- Restrained paper
- Over-sized papers
- Embossed papers
- Layered paper structures (maybe this is one page and these sub-points go in it)
- Chine colle
- Collage
- Compound drawings (I don't love this descriptor, needs a rename)
