Mold removed from paper with clear tape and examined under a microscope (Transmitted light 40X objective) reveals dense population of spherical conidia. Overall Appearance: Darkly-pigmented mold growth is evident on the verso, as diffuse circular colonies, and smaller, localized growths. Macroscopic Appearance: Closer magnification reveals aerial fungal structures Light Microscopy: Under magnification, with transmitted light, a profusion of conidia, asexual spores, are apparent.
