Illustration of the magenta color cast caused by inadequate filtration of UV and IR in a UVA/visible fluorescence image. The image on the top was captured using Wratten 2e and PECA 918 filters placed over the lens. The image on the bottom was captured with no filtration. This camera is unmodified, so internal camera filtration was used for both images. Image credit: Jennifer McGlinchey Sexton
