I am Sasha Arden, pronouns they/them/their. I am a graduate student at the Institute of Fine Arts’ Conservation Center at New York University, pursuing an MA in the History of Art and Archaeology, and an MS in the Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works specializing in Time-Based Media.

I previously worked at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) as an Exhibitions Technical Assistant, installing and supporting media-based artworks. I contributed to the cross-departmental media collection resource, SFMOMA MediaWiki.

I have also worked at the Oakland Museum of California, the San Francisco Art Institute, and as an Adjunct Instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Writing. I completed additional coursework in chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley Extension.
