Susan Russick
Chief Conservator Northwestern University Library

Susan holds a BA in Art from Northern Illinois University and an MLIS with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Conservation of Library and Archival Materials from the University of Texas at Austin. She has worked in book and paper conservation since 1991 and is a Fellow of the American Institute for Conservation. She has held positions at the Library of Congress, several Smithsonian museums and the Newberry Library and taught at the Campbell Center/International Center for Preservation Studies for 19 years. Susan is currently the Chief Conservator at Northwestern University Library, where she has worked since 2009.
