Ronel Namde is Associate Conservator of Photographs in the Paper Conservation Department at the J. Paul Getty Museum. She joined the Getty Museum in 2019 from the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., and has done internships or worked at the Weissman Preservation Center at Harvard University, the Arab Image Foundation, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the Yale University Library. She holds an M.S. and certificate of advanced study from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation and a B.A. in anthropology from Yale University. Ronel is also a member of the Equity and Inclusion Committee.
