1870's blank book. The gatherings of four leaves are sewn in an abbreviated 4-on pattern on three raised cord supports. One continuous thread is used to make the abbreviated sewing, the kettle stitches, and an oversewing stitch at the head and tail through eight gatherings. Photo by Katherine Kelly October 2017.
